Welcome to December

Today is December 1st. The soft opening of NaRose Designs Studio and before I walk into this new month, I wanted to share something that’s been on my heart.

This photo is a piece of my vision board from earlier this year. My words going into 2025 were clarity and connection, and even though I wasn’t sure how things would unfold, I still quietly held onto the dream of creating a space of my own. A space for creativity, community, and growth.

The image at the center was a studio I found online with beautiful floors, bright shelves, so much light, so much space. It was absolutely out of reach for me: too far away, too big, and definitely outside my budget. But something about it represented the feeling I hoped for. The openness. The possibility. The invitation for people to walk in and breathe.

I surrounded that picture with words and reminders I needed at the time:

Create with confidence.

Leap of faith.

Women inspired.

Creating Connections.

Make yourself comfortable.

Room to grow.

Perhaps this is the moment for which you were created.

All of those pieces became anchors on days when doubt was louder than belief. Because trying to build something in the middle of real life — responsibilities, uncertainty, the state of the world — can feel a little wild. But that “leap of faith” kept whispering back to me. Even if my leap was more like a tiptoe. (LOL, but still a step!)

And now… here we are.

December 1.

Soft opening day.

The studio will be what it will be today. Maybe quiet, maybe imperfect, maybe still settling in, but I have a deep peace about it. A peace that can only be God. I’m grateful, I’m reflective, and I’m hopeful for what this space can become for others.

And sharing is honestly one of the hardest things for me which is a little funny because I love connecting people! But here I am, sharing anyway. Yikes!

So, welcome to December, the final month of the year.

I hope it holds clarity, connection, creativity, and unexpected joy for every one of us.

And I hope, in some way, you’ll join me on this journey and find something here - inspiration, rest, confidence, community — that lifts you too.

Here’s to new beginnings.
