Rise & Shine: It’s the Little Things

Sometimes, it’s the little things that bring the biggest smiles.

Like realizing your toenail polish perfectly matches your weights (totally unplanned, but absolutely meant to be). Or taking a deep, steady breath (inhale, exhale) and deciding to do it again.

Fridays can have that kind of energy. An invitation to pause, reset, and flow even if it’s just for five, ten, or thirty minutes. Move your body. Stretch. Dance. Or simply lay on your mat and stare at the ceiling, doing absolutely nothing except breathing.

And if you’re anything like me, maybe you’ve sat in your car, looked up through the sunroof, and just watched the sky. The clouds moving, the birds flying, the peace that comes from stillness all without a single bug in sight (a win in itself 😂).

The truth is, it doesn’t always have to be a grand gesture. You don’t always need to spend hours on a particular thing, the perfect playlist, or a big moment of transformation. Sometimes, it’s just about showing up for yourself in small, simple ways and celebrating that you did.

So today, I hope you find a little moment that makes you smile.

Breathe in. Breathe out. Repeat.
